Corban's Art Trip

This term we went to the Corban’s Estate to learn about the famous artist Pablo Picasso. He painted in a cubist style. We were our own artists and made a cubist art work ourselves. Mrs Sauvarin says our art work is stunning! Great job Room 7.

Pirate Day

Book Fair Pirate Day.              

The book fair this year was a pirate 
theme. We did some pirate activities during 
the week and dressed up 
as pirates for a pirate day...........
"Ahoy, me Hearties!"

Surf to School

This week at Surf to School we learnt about “slip, slop, slap, wrap and slide.” We even did a dance to help us remember this.

In the water we practised what to do in a rip and we had fun saving one of our friends using the rescue tube.

Thanks to all the life guards, we learnt a lot and had a lot of fun!

Learning our Mihi

Mr Milich came to visit us in Room 7 and taught us about how to write and say our own Mihi. This is a way to introduce ourselves and acknowledge our family. Here we are learning a song and saying our Mihi.
